While walking around, I discovered this wonder and was inspired to write this piece.

The hangars are called no man's land.

During the First World War, the small enclave on Culatra Island was an aviation center for anti-submarine warfare. Today, only the memories and barbed wire remain.

Getting to the hangars is not straightforward. You have to disembark on Farol Island or Culatra Island.
